Thomas Patrick Keane

Thomas Patrick Keane, 80, of Lynchburg, died Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Lynchburg General Hospital.  He was the Widower of Elizabeth Keane.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, September 3, 1937he was a son of the late Thomas and Ann O’Hara Keane.  He was retired from Central Fidelity Bank.  In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Keane was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Keane.

Mr. Keane is survived by four children, Elizabeth Paulette (Mark) of Rockville, MD   Marie Tomlin (Randall) of Forest, Thomas Patrick Keane Jr. of Lynchburg, Kevin Keane (Stace) of Northfield, MN, one sister, Barbara Devine of Greenwood Lake, NY, one brother, Stephen Keane of Staten Island, NY, six grandchildren, Emily Tomlin. Matthew Tomlin, Allison Tomlin, Brendan Paulette, Henry Keane and Walter Keane.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 710 Clay St., Lynchburg, with MSG Kenneth Rush as celebrant.  Relatives and friends are welcome for visitation at Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory, Wiggington Rd. Chapel (434) 385-8900 on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Interment will be in Virginia Memorial Park.
