Obituary of Virginia Walton Huddleston

Virginia "Me Maw" Walton Huddleston, 90, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was the wife of the late David Franklin Huddleston, Jr. Born July 5, 1923 in Gauley Bridge, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Lionel Miller and Rachael Beckett Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of Heritage United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the American Legion-Auxiliary, Diuguid's Widow to Widow Support Group and the Gauley Bridge (WVA) Historical Society. She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Pelletier and her husband, Michael, of Naples, FL and Frances Blick and her husband, Jerry, of Lynchburg, VA; one brother, James B. Miller and his wife, Marie, of Chula Vista, CA; one sister Marilyn M. Colagrosso of Kimberly, WVA; six grandchildren, Polly Creed, David Lockwenz, Robert Pipkin, Cherie Pipkin, Ronda Sprinkle and Pamela Thomas; six great-grandchildren, Adam Creed, Elliott Creed, Austen Pipkin, Desiree` Hayslett. Kami Sprinkle and Benjamin Thomas, ; three great-great grandchildren, Weston Pruitt, Robert Michael and Timothy Pipkin,. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou Lockwenz, a son-in-law, Richard Lockwenz and a brother-in-law, Sam Colagrosso. The family will receive friend's Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Hill Crest Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs, WVA.
