I remember him at Virginia Baptist Hospital, then patient husband at many Sweet Briar Nursing LPN Graduations, generosity for missions and Peakland UMC. He helped with rescue dogs. I AM SO VERY SADDENED TO LEARN OF MR ROY GARRETT'S PASSING. I FONDLY REMEMBER HIS AMAZING WARM PERSONALITY. HE WAS ALWAYS SO HELPFUL & WILLING TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I HAD PERTAINING TO PRESCRIPTION, MEDICATIONS, AND INTERACTIONS, ETC. MY PARENTS WORKED AT THE HOSPITALS AND THEY ALL THOUGHT THE WORLD OF ONE ANOTHER. HIS AWESOME WIFE , MRS ELEANOR GARRETT WAS THE DIRECTOR OF NURSING AT MY NURSING SCHOOL ,VIRGINIA BAPTIST HOSPITAL SCHOOL OF NURSING. IT SEEMS JUST A VERY FEW MOMENTS AGO THAT I ATTENDED MRS GARRETT'S VISITATION JUST BEFORE HER MEMORIAL SERVICE IN 2021 , WHERE I LAST SAW MR GARRETT & THEIR TWO BELOVED BEAUTIFUL AMAZING SONS & FAMILIES . I PRAY FOR ABUNDANT LOVE, COMFORT, PEACE, STRENGTH, COURAGE, AND EVERY PROVISION PERPETUALLY FOR THE ENTIRE GARRETT FAMILY, FRIENDS , & LOVED ONES. LOVE & PRAYERS, BEVERLEY ELLIOTT -BUTCHER
