Obituary of Michael "Scott" Toler

Michael “Scott” Toler, 57, of Rustburg, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born December 13, 1964, in Lynchburg, he was a son of Nancy Herndon Toler and the late Ralph Morgan Toler. He graduated from Rustburg High School and worked with heavy equipment in the construction business. He enjoyed his friends and socializing with them.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Herndon Toler; one brother, Morgan Wayne Toler (Heidi); one sister, Tracey T. Burke (Jeff); one niece, Morgan Whitney Toler Garrett (Cody) and one great nephew, Jaylon Toler.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Diuguid Wiggington Road Chapel with the Rev. Dan G. Mason and Rev. Craig Dowdy officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the funeral home. A private burial will be held in Cumbie Cemetery in Rustburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Campbell County Rescue Squad.
