Mr. Webb was my Elementary School teacher. I loved him! He was very funny and very sweet. He always kept school interesting and fun. It is so sad to see his passing. I was even able to see him after I grew up, once a year for a few years on Halloween. I would take my kids trick or treating, his house was one of the ones we got candy from.

I served under Mr. Webb as a teacher in the Campbell County School System in the mid-80's. I taught a total of 33 years during my career. I taught in several schools and had a number of principals. There are the ones that stand out, and Mr. Webb was truly one of them. His wit, easy manner, support of his teachers and love of the kids made him one of the best! I offer my sincere condolences for the passing of such a rare and fine individual.

I would like to offer my condolences to Phyllis, his children and the family. I had the opportunity to serve with Tom on the Lynchburg School Board and Jubilee Board and was able to see firsthand his love for children in our community. He always ended the school board meeting with a positive word about the accomplishments of students, teachers or a school play that he attended. He was a blessing to our community and will truly be missed. My prayers are with the family.
