Obituary of Peggy White Mason

Peggy Jeannine White Mason “Grummy”, 80, of Evington, passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2018.She was the daughter of the late John C. White and Mabel Staples White. 
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roger Mason, and her daughter Cindy Mason (Kenny Terry) of Evington, and her Granddaughter Amanda Bruffy “Missy” (Michael Deen) of Lynchburg.  She is also survived by two brothers, John “Chip” White (Jackie) of Appomattox and Joel “Joe” White (Terri) of Rustburg.  She is survived by three sisters, Martha Wirt of Lynchburg, Cary Smario (Jay) of Greensboro, NC, and Sara Adams of Franklin, TN.
Grummy retired from Campbell County Schools.  She was a member of Langhorne Chapel Community Church.  She loved to cook, crochet, and knit and loved to laugh and make others laugh.  She was Grummy to more than just her family.  If she was ever your Grummy then she was always your Grummy.

 A visitation will be held Friday from 6-8 PM at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel.
